Clare Walton | Custom Home 289

Clare Walton is the co-founding principal of Walton Architecture + Engineering [“Walton AE”]. She established the company in 2005 with her husband, Steve Walton, who is the principal engineer. Since that time, the company has grown to receive national recognition as a full service architectural design, interior design and engineering firm. The company has received numerous Mountain Home Awards in Tahoe Quarterly magazine, Gold Nugget Awards from the Pacific Coast Builders Conference, feature articles in the San Francisco Chronicle, Luxe magazine and a cover showcase in Western Art + Architecture magazine. Her work is often noted as being equally unassuming and grand, respectful to the landscape, and skillfully blending rugged mountain influences with a clean, modern aesthetic.

She balances this with being a mother of two school aged daughters, Grace and Ella, and an active mountain lifestyle. She is an avid alpine and Nordic skier, mountain biker, road cyclist, trail runner, and new triathlete. She is involved in the local community, serving as a member on the Tahoe City Design Site Review Committee.

Clare Walton is a licensed California State Architect. For more information on Walton AE, please visit http://www.WaltonAE.com
